Second Customization

Ok, so i attempted to put on the very first decal.. It's a little to left rather than dead center (not too too bad), but eventually I'll have it re-done centered correctly. For now it will do.. Hey, I was never good at applying decals anyways.. lol

Bad Experience With Decal Shipper...

Wow! realized that he didn't send me my chrome 3rd brake light decal.. So, I contacted him - he was such an ass! It was a good thing the transaction went through paypal. In the end he refunded me the money for the missing item.

But let me tell you, I will NEVER deal with him again! From now on, I much rather pay top dollar for an item with a reputable seller!

1st Set Of Stickers Came In

I received my first set of stickers/decals today from Custom Brake Lights.

Just wasn't happy with the rear window decal.. the mountains are not as big as I thought they would be.. They're more stretched and not tall.

I so want to put them on, but it's a little cool outside and I'm afraid they may not stick.. However, I think the project can start today by atleast removing those stupid ones I currently have - (that came on the truck when I bought it).. Hmmm, debating if I want to go outside and do that right now... Or if I should wait and do it all in 1 day.. but I don't see any warm days coming anytime soon - now that winter is right around the corner.

Guess I'll decide and let you know after I have made up my mind.. lol

Finally Registered

Yep, I finally got my Avy registered yesterday (woot).. Eventually I will get vanity plates - but for now normal plates will do. Still waiting for the decals/stickers to come in.. Hopefully they'll come in today..

As you can see, the seller did infact fix the driver's side fog light and removed the shitty front grill guard bar - (although he did it the shitty way by just cutting it off instead of actually removing it by the bolts), no worries though - when I get my new one - It will be installed properly!

The Start Of Ownership

I've been looking for an Avalanche since New Years 2012 - (but wanted one since they first came out back in 2002 - who knew 12 years later I finally would get one).

I tried to find the right one, but those that were in my price range were all out of state... I finally made up my mind on the one I wanted to get down in New Jersey, but I got screwed out of the deal.. A second chance came around and saw another one I liked - (also in New Jersey), but at the same time the one I bought came up through the dealership where I bought my wife's Chevy Uplander.. Yes, we love Chevy's! So, to save time and money - I bought this one which was local to see, test drive and get.
